Camco Advisory Services Kenya (CASK) Ltd, the veteran clean energy and climate consulting company, has unveiled a new company name, website, logo and tagline in line with its corporate rebranding initiative. The new name, Climate & Energy Advisory(C&E) and tagline, “Citadel of Resilience and Sustainability”, encompasses the four areas of focus the company has placed at its nucleus: climate adaptation and finance; clean energy development services; natural resource management; green growth and urban development.

C&E is undertaking Capacity Development activities on vertical and model gardens in schools, households and communities, promoting sustainable forest conservation and NRM, promoting efficient energy utilisation technologies, strengthening community based disaster risk management (CBDRM) structures, and gender sensitive programming through strengthened active participation of women in project activities.

This is a two-year assignment that forms an integral component of Expertise France’s efforts to support the ongoing conservancy development process in the northern Kenya in Marsabit & Samburu Counties in order to support the long-term resilience of the livelihoods to impacts of climate change. The project focuses on alternative livelihood activities such as irrigated agriculture, conservation agriculture, sustainable agro-pastoral practices, water conservation and enhanced rural development. The assignment has been commissioned by Expertise France, on behalf of the French Ministry of Economy and Finance and the Ministry of Environment.
